Contemporary Dance

I went to contemporary dance yesterday. It was tough. But it was amazing. I got to exercise all parts of my body and learn new skill. There are also some techniques in contemporary dance that similar to martial arts’ – which I do go once in a while as well, but I plan to go more often now – so it wasn’t something I wasn’t used to. So I really like it. I will attend contemporary dancing class maybe once or twice a week. I have to persistently continue with the training from now on if I want to master my skills and to be in good form.

Today, I will also go to yoga class. Luckily, there’s a yoga place near my home. So I don’t have to travel that far. But with dancing and martial arts classes, I have to travel far. Not so much the dancing class. It’s just in central London. But the martial arts class is quite far. There are also some martial arts schools near me, but I don’t really like them. But maybe, I should try to go to other places near me as well. I haven’t tried them all, yet. I have only tried a few of them. I just like the one that I always go. So, even it’s a bit too far, it’s okay.

I will also try to go to martial arts once a week, too. I just have to keep working out and perfecting my skills. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of time if I only go when I feel like to. So, every week, I go to dancing class, yoga, and martial arts. And since I don’t like going to the gym this is the best way for me to keep fit, and plus I get to learn new skills. As I get older, workout has become more and more vital because your body is not as strong and healthy as when you’re young. But even for young people, physical activities are also important for them. All in all, it’s just essential for everybody to be in good health and shape – no matter your age.

After the yoga class, I will have to do two self-tape auditions as well. So, I have to find the monologues to use for my auditions and memorise them. Then, after I am done with the self-tape auditions, I will work a little bit more on my screenplay. Maybe for a few hours or so. Just to take a small step towards my goal of finishing my screenplay although I don’t have time to write. Or, I will work a little bit more on my script now before I go to yoga class. I think, I’ll do that.
