I plan to make and sell candles as well. I love scented candles. I like the perfumes that make me feel calm, relaxed, invigorating, and make my home smell like a flower garden. It just feels so nice to surround myself with beautiful scents all the time. Good, natural fragrances can really fill you with lots of energy and positive thoughts. It’s so incredible how scents can do to your mind & soul.
That’s why all my candles will be made using just natural ingredients such as 100% soy wax, 100% essential oils. Natural components are good for your health, too. I don’t want to fill my home with lots of chemical and synthetic stuff either. So I try to avoid using materials that are not good for your well-being and the environment as well. I also want my scented candles to smell like the real flowers, and by using 100% essential oils I can achieve just that. Well, I just can’t wait to start my candle business soon!
When I don’t know what to eat, I always make spaghetti or noodle. These 2 types of dishes are time-saving, simple but yummy. So I always have noodles and spaghetti in my kitchen cupboard, so that I can make a quick, delicious dish in no time at all when I don’t have time to cook, or don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen. Sometimes, simple dishes can taste super tasty and healthy as well when you make it yourself using quality ingredients.
Because, when I actually do cook, I like to shop quality produce and ingredients to make good food for myself. It’s my way of pampering myself by indulging myself once in a while in good food, spa, makeup, perfumes, fashion clothes, accessories, etc. I think, by giving myself a little gift now and then makes me feel fantastic, and my confidence and self-esteem increase accordingly. It doesn’t require much to feel genuinely happy. Sometimes simple things in life can make you feel you are at the top of the world.
I have been working on my online jewellery store Mystic Full Moon constantly. So, I haven’t had time to blog that often anymore. Getting my startup business up and running is my top priority right now. But I will also try to blog as often as I possibly can. I love blogging, though. So I can’t stop blogging. No matter how busy I am, I will try to blog when I can. Now, I’m not that busy. That’s why I begin to blog again. I’m still busy, however. Having your own business is a full time job. There will always be something to do, to improve your business. Especially, when you just start it, there are lots and lots of things to do.

Most of the time, I like having fruits for breakfast. I rarely eat traditional breakfast. I just like something healthy and light to start my day with. I therefore buy fruits and vegetables practically every day because I eat it daily. Fruits and vegetables have to be consumed fast as well, otherwise they will get moldy very quickly. So I have to eat it on a daily basis, so that I don’t have to throw them away after buying them. Fruits and vegetables are also very cheap, compared to candy, chocolate, cake, and the like. 1 Box of sweet costs about £5 or more. But 1 basket of fruit costs maybe just £1, which is a much healthy choice both for your health and money. But candies do, somehow, sell more than fruits and vegetables, and I don’t know why. But I buy fruits instead of sweets not because they are affordable, but because they taste better with natural sweetness and they are good for your health. When I have time, I like going to the markets nearby to buy fresh ingredients, fruits, vegetables, and produce. I just like all things natural and fresh. Luckily, there are lots of markets selling fresh produce all over London. So, it won’t be difficult for me to get some fresh produce for the cooking just for a dinner for that day.
I have made a video showing you how to use my soy lotion candle as a body lotion as well. I haven’t blogged for a while because I was busy launching my new, small business which is candle making. I make all the soy candles myself. I learned how to make candles some years ago. Now, it’s time to put it to good use. I love scented candles. So doing what I love as a business as well doesn’t feel like work, which is good. Same with acting which I’m also passionate about. You have to love what you do. Then, you can devote yourself 100% or even more to it.
The first scented candle I am introducing is French lavender home candle. It’s French High Altitude Lavender Essential Oil that is very versatile in terms of properties. It can cure various skin problems, and at the same time protect the skin because it contains Linalyl Acetate which is antiviral and antibacterial. Therefore the characteristics of this specific French lavender are enhanced over normal Lavender. So to speak, French lavender is one of the best essential oils, or maybe the best, besides its irresistible bouquet.
Thus, it’s ideal to light this lavender scented candle when you need a quality alone time to relax after a hot bath. Especially during bedtime since lavender scent also helps you get a good sleep. Then, use the soy and coconut lotion right after hot bath once the candle is melted. The warm, natural lotion will then absorb into your skin quicker and better, leaving your skin soft and nourished and subtly scented. The French lavender fragrance really revitalizes your senses after a long day at work. I have tried many different lavender perfumes. But nothing can beat French lavender. It just smells divine.
It also helps me get rid of all my skin problems. I used to get acne very easily. Now, I can say goodbye to acne for good. I started making and using my own serum and moisturizer with lavender essential oil as one of the natural ingredients about 4-5 years ago. After the first couple of years of using it, my acne just disappeared and never to return – no matter what I eat.

I want to have a perfect body. Purely because for my health. Having a healthy body means you are in good health. So I begin to exercise a lot and it gives a good result which I can see. I used to use size 12-14. Now, I can use size 8-10. So I’m very happy with it. Fitness also helps you stay energized all day. I used to feel very tired and sleepy during the day, especially in the afternoon. Now, I feel active throughout the day. I don’t feel like taking a nap or anything. I don’t eat much either. I only eat when my body does, actually, need food. I used to eat several times a day for nothing, even late night and before I went to bed. Now no more. I feel so healthy now. My stomach is also more flat than before, including a toned body. I have to maintain it from now on. I don’t want to go back to unhealthy body again.
I’m blogging from my mobile. I have been working in front of a laptop all day long searching for a colourist-editor and a sound mixer. So now I’m exhausted. I can’t sit in front of a laptop no more. Luckily, WordPress has a mobile app which you can just blog on the app from your mobile – very convenient. I’m not that tired. But I don’t want to watch a film either. I don’t want to go to bed now either since I’m not tired. I must find something to do. I might look through my old recipes how to make serum. I like making my own skincare, using natural ingredients. I rarely buy skincare products. I use my own handmade cosmetics. When I’m running out of ingredients, I just go to shops around London to buy new ingredients. I know those shops well, and vice versa. Since I am their regular customer. I enjoy making my own natural skincare for my own use and as a hobby. It just brings me closer to the nature. Just the smell of natural ingredients makes me feel good already. Now I think I will make my new serum for younger looking skin. A small bottle containing 30ml of serum lasts about 1-2 months. I don’t like making too much at a time. I make small amount each time and use it up quickly. Then I make a new, fresh one after that.
This morning I felt like having a light breakfast. So I made fruity smoothie instead of real breakfast. It’s banana, strawberry, and blueberry smoothie. it tasted very refreshing. What I did was that I purchased fresh strawberry and blueberry and stored them in the freezer, to preserve their freshness. If I didn’t do that I then had to eat the fruits within 1-2 days already. Otherwise they will rot very fast, especially strawberry and blueberry they tend to spoil very rapidly. After I put them in the freezer, I have them for 3-4 days now, and they are still as fresh as when I bought them.
That’s why I love summer. It somehow persuades me to eat healthy when the sun is shining and the weather is warm. You just feel like eating lots of fruits, vegetables, salads, and the like when it’s sunny outside. Just like when you are on vacation somewhere exotic and tropical. You can create a sense of being on holiday in a warm country by eating healthy food with all sorts of vegetables and having fruits as dessert or snack instead, and maybe making a cocktail to go along with it. I have some simple cocktail recipes to share next time for this warm weather.
Although it’s officially summer now. But the weather is still changing a lot. It’s like we have all seasons in one day. This week, for example, we have rain, sunshine, dull and cold weather, and so forth. I can’t figure out anymore what to wear. Sometimes I get out in the morning and it’s cold because of the rain, so I wear winter coat, then as the days goes by the sun starts shining and all, and I look awkward with winter jacket on when everybody else is wearing summer clothes. That’s London rain. You just have to get used to it. I have been living here for many years, but I still haven’t adjusted myself to its inconstant climate yet.
What a perfect day to eat ice cream with mango fruit. The mango is perfectly ripe. It has the level of sweetness that I like, which is not too sweet. I bought the mango about 3-4 days ago. At that time, it wasn’t 100% luscious yet – only about 10%. Now it is. It’s my day off today as well. So it’s a good timing to finally eat the mango. 1 Mango and a few scoops of ice cream really make me feel full. I can, actually, have a mango as a meal instead. It’s like eating a portion of food.
But in despite of its health and delicacy, I don’t eat it that often. But ideally, I should. I must admit, it’s because I don’t like peeling it. The same with orange, kiwi, pineapple, papaya, and the like. But, I don’t like buying fruits that have already been skinned either. I just think, they are not fresh enough. I like doing it myself. Then I know they are crisp and clean. So I often buy the fruits and remove the rinds myself. Now it’s summer, I promise myself that I will eat fruits more frequently. I’m just tempted to eat more fruits and vegetables now that the sun is shining, the weather is warm, and there are (exotic) fruits which I can buy everywhere now right in front of my face. So it’s not easy to resist it, which is good.
Mango is one of my favourite fruits. I wish it was summer all year long here in UK. Then, I would eat mango every day. In winter, I’m not in the mood for fruits. I don’t know why. Maybe it has something to do with the weather. I don’t like eating cake, sweet, and chocolate that much either. So, in wintertime, I rarely eat desserts. But I do eat carrot, cucumber, banana, apple, celery, and the like, as snack instead. Then, in summertime, I tend to eat more fruits and vegetables since there is a wild variation of them to choose from than in winter.
Ice cream and summer are just best friends. You can’t enjoy summer without ice cream. It’s amazing that ice cream is just a simple thing, but it can really bring joy to people’s faces. It just makes our lives more cheerful and colourful in summer by just eating ice cream. So ice cream, fruit drinks, milkshakes, smoothies, and lots of fruits and vegetables will be on my menu almost daily from now on. There are lots of ways I can make them into different dessert dishes. I can, for example, make mango sticky rice (Thai traditional dessert, which everybody loves), fried banana or fried pineapple and ice cream, coconut ice cream, or just top the ice cream with all sorts of fruits.
Mango sticky rice is also quite simple to make. You just mix sticky rice with coconut milk, put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds or 1 minute, then take it out again and serve it with ripe mango. Then, your mango sticky rice is ready in no time at all.
I took a nap this afternoon. Now I feel so animated and totally awake. I think, maybe I will use this opportunity to continue to revise my screenplay. Sometimes, I feel so energised in the morning and sometimes at night instead. So whenever that occurs, I have to grab that chance and write as much as I can before it begins to subside again. Therefore, it is probably true to say that taking a nap each day can help you become more active and productive. Some countries in Europe already do that. I think Italy and Spain, for instance. When I went to Italy with my friend many years ago, I saw a pair of shoes which I really liked it, but wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase it. I then told the shop assistant that I will walk around and come back within half an hour if I want to buy it. And that was around lunch time. She then told me: The shop will be closed for 2 hours, so I need to come back after that. I was so surprised. I never knew this before. Because, it is widely believed that sleeping or taking a nap during the day is a sign of laziness. That what many perceive it, including me. So it took me by surprise to find out that in some countries during my stay in Italy, it is a good thing. Italy is so mesmerising, also France. I will, definitely, return to the countries one day. I like travelling around Europe. Some places are just so beautiful and picturesque. And I try to avoid traversing by plane. I’d rather take a train instead, to get the most out of the stunning landscapes around Europe.
