Practising The Split

I’m practising The Split. I have to do it every day if I want to be able to do split legs. I could do it a long time ago when I was much younger. But now, I’m not so good no more. Everything needs practice. If you don’t practise you can’t possess the skills – no matter how young or old you are. Practice is everything. So, I begin to practise it every morning. It seems to get easier and easier the more I practise. So I think, I should make a video to record my progress. I will make videos as often as possible, to see my improvement in doing split legs training day by day. It’s a great way to motivate myself that I can do it since I can see how good I am day after day. When you can see just some kind of¬†breakthrough you feel you CAN do it. It makes you want to keep going. That’s all the incentive I need to reach my goal.

Same with writing. I have to re-program my thinking that I have to write as if my life depends on it. It does, actually, help. Last night, I watched the films and worked on my short film script until almost 2am this morning. I expect my short film to be finished in November or something. But I think, I might manage to complete it before that. This is exciting! I don’t want to give myself a short deadline. What if I couldn’t make it on time? I don’t like making promises I can’t keep. So, it’s better to give myself a good time. Then, If I managed to¬†accomplish before that then it’s good. If not, then I still have plenty of time to do so. After this blog post, I will continue to work on my short film script again.
